Got the breakfast buffet. It had an array of breads and breakfast meats. Our waitress cooked us some fresh fried eggs. Food and service were great. I rang the bell on the way out.
Everything you could ask for in a morning after the beach breakfast place! Ladies are all so friendly, kind, and loved we had never been there before. Me and my husband routinely go to Freeport and have since we were kids but never checked out anything in the town. I got French toast and my husband got the chicken fried steak. All of it was so so good and tasted so home cooked. The strawberry jelly was for sure something dropped from heaven and I'm not sure if the syrup was name brand but it also tasted like it was touched by the ancestors!
Awesome food (& presentation!). Great prices. Don’t judge it by the outside! Seating is dated, but the food is outstanding. Lunch buffet every day & breakfast buffet on Saturdays. Highly recommend!
Everyone was so helpful. The food was some of the best I've had in a long time. They really put love in the recipes. I'm excited to go back and try other things on the menu, plus the buffet. Thank you, Port Cafe for welcoming us so warmly.
I had the cheeseburger with onion rings! The meat is fresh and juicy! The onion rings are hand battered and enormous! Husband had the buffet and enjoyed all of it, especially the fish. Great food and friendly service. Will definitely be back!

Found this little place when we stayed at the Motel 6 (would not recommend this motel btw), but the cafe was great. We stopped for breakfast. It's tiny, but the food is big! The servers are quiet but very friendly and kind! Prices were great. They ranged from about $6-$15 per person depending on what you ordered. Everything we got was delicious, except my teen did not enjoy the waffle, she said it was hard and she should have got the pancakes. The rest of the food was amazing! Very delicious and large portions. The salsa was so good, definitely homemade! Biscuits and gravy were excellent! Chicken fried steak was real, not frozen, and on point! The drinks were served ICE cold in these large, adorable mason jars. When we left they were setting up for their lunch buffet which looked so good! Don't miss out on this one!
We didn't realize they closed at 2:00 p.m. and walked in 5 minutes before 2:00 they greeted us with smiles and took our order the food was amazing
First timer (07/08/2026). Food was great! I got the Bacon, Avocado Burger with Onion Rings, husband had their lunch buffet. The little waitress was super cute, on top of things, fun to tease (she could take it). Highly recommend and will be going again.
The ladies were so sweet and hospitable! The food was delicious, tasted homemade with love and the prices are unbeatable. Thank you for the warm welcome ladies
